The Story
The IESE Impact Fund was born out of a growing interest among IESE students in using capital as a tool for societal value creation. Launched in 2017 as a grassroots initiative by MBA students, the fund began as a club focused on mobilizing the IESE community around local impact investing.
Since then, it has evolved into a fully student-led platform that sits at the intersection of IESE talent, investors, and impact companies across Europe. Open to 1st- and 2nd-year MBAs, the Fund educates and trains its members broadly across impact investing through a structured curriculum, simulated investment processes, and collaboration with a growing European network of investors, startups, and alumni.
Recognizing the saturation of early-stage capital in today's market, the Fund has strategically shifted from a sourcing platform towards a European impact investing hub. Rather than focusing on capital deployment alone, we source, screen, and support promising startups for aligned venture partners—leveraging our diverse MBA backgrounds and professional experience to deliver more than just capital: practical support, strategic insight, and investor connectivity.
Today, the fund is driven by a team of 20+ MBA students dedicated to building a high-impact, globally connected learning platform. We continue to grow our portfolio of partners, educate our community, and play a catalytic role in identifying and advancing startups that are creating measurable impact—locally and beyond.
