The Story
The IESE Impact Fund was born out of a growing interest among IESE students in using capital as a tool for societal value creation. Launched in 2017 as a grassroots initiative by MBA students, the fund began as a club focused on mobilizing the IESE community around local impact investing.
Since then, it has evolved into a fully student-led impact investment fund that partners with early-stage ventures and ecosystem players to support high-potential startups working on urgent social and environmental challenges.
Recognizing the saturation of early-stage capital in today’s market, the fund is strategically shifting toward a ‘feeder fund’ model—focusing not only on capital deployment, but also on sourcing, screening, and supporting promising startups for aligned venture partners. This approach allows us to leverage our diverse MBA backgrounds and professional experience to deliver more than just capital—offering practical support, strategic insight, and investor connectivity.
Today, the fund is driven by a team of 20+ MBA students dedicated to building a high-impact, globally connected learning platform. We continue to grow our portfolio of partners, educate our community, and play a catalytic role in identifying and advancing startups that are creating measurable impact—locally and beyond.
